The good folks over at Matte Black Sound Company have put together a compilation album featuring artists of all backgrounds from all across the country, all coming to gather to raise their voices against injustice.

All proceeds from this project will be donated to the following organizations that take initiative in the fight against inequality here in the United States: Black Lives Matter, Campaign Zero, The NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.

Grammy Award winning audio engineer Ted Young has twenty years worth of experience recording, producing, mixing, live sound, and studio installation.


Since starting his career at venerated studios Water Music in Hoboken, NJ and The Magic Shop in NYC, he has worked with such artists as Kurt Vile, Alice Cooper, Mick Jagger, Andrew W.K., The Gaslight Anthem, and Sonic Youth.  He has worked alongside legendary producers such as John Agnello, Bob Ezrin, Kevin Killen, Mike Barbiero, Tony Visconti and Niko Bolas.


Ted won the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Historical Album for mixing The Rolling Stones’ Charlie Is My Darling.


Ted is based out of his personal studio, Outer Space, in Philadelphia, PA but travels internationally as well as nationwide to work with artists.
